Who we are

I wasn’t raised Jack and Jill — but don’t get it twisted, I understand luxury.

I learned it in the way my family kept their houses.
In the way my grandmother set a table.
In the way my great-grandmother carried herself.
In the “smell goods”in every room.
In the quiet understanding that when you walk out the door, you are representing the whole line.

Even as the only Black girl in white rooms, I knew one thing for sure:
my skin and my presentation better be right.
Not out of vanity — out of responsibility.

Because where I come from, if you look neglected, it’s not just about you.
It means the ritual failed.

Don’t B. Ashy was born from that standard.
Not to moisturize.
But to protect.
To restore dignity.
To make sure the shine never breaks in the lineage again.
